1. Recall a time when you were lonely and someone helped you through your loneliness.
2. Identify three groups of people who are lonely in our community. Explain the cause of their loneliness.
3. Love and support are the solutions to loneliness. Communities can give such love and support. For each of the three groups of people you mentioned in #2 above, state what we, as a community, could do to help end their loneliness. Be specific and give examples.

a) How does it relate to what you have been experiencing in your search for a service placement?
b) Describe what you have done so far in searching for a service placement? Who have you contacted? What were the results?
c) Why do you think it is so difficult to find a place to offer your help to people? Give three different reasons.
d) Does the fact that it is difficult to find service work mean that we do not have to do it? Explain your answer.

When giving your two-minute presentation, be sure to include the following:
1. Give an overview of what you specifically did during your ten hours of service and how you felt.
2. Summarize what you have learned from this experience.
3. Relate how your service lives up to Jesus’ command to serve.

1. Briefly summarize your service project information (the name of the agency, frequency of your service, what your duties were).
2. Write about one or two of the most memorable people you worked with or worked for.
3. Evaluate any change in your attitude about service learning from the beginning of Grade 9 until now.
4. Evaluate your effectiveness objectively. Rate your attitude, your rapport with people, your sense of responsibility, and your usefulness to the agency or a particular person you served.
5. List one personal strength and one personal weakness you discovered about yourself while participating in this project.
6. What was the most significant experience you had while participating in this project? Explain why it was so significant to you.
7. What advice can you offer another student who might choose this area of service? Be specific.
8. How did your participation in this service program apply to Matthew 25:31-45.
9. Describe one way you experienced God’s presence through your work or the people you served.
